At UK Business Today – we get a lot of requests from graduates and young professionals saying that they wish they had a guide to where they could stay before attending University. We thought this would be a good idea too. Each week we’re going to look at different cities and to see what type of flats and gardens they have. We feel this will be able to help the business graduates of the future.
The city we’re going to look at this week is Edinburgh. Let’s look at Marchmont. Popular with young professionals and students alike, it’s not a long walk from the University. The Victorian era allure adds to its attractiveness.
An up and coming area in its own right is Tollcross. If you’re looking for a place with cinemas, restaurants and generally a good place to be if you’re a student then think about this area. Not a long walk from George Square with lots of housing options available.
In the heart of the South of Edinburgh is Newington. It’s easy to understand why it’s popular with students. If you’re looking for great bars and nice places to then here is a fantastic place to go. If you’re a student at The University of Edinburgh then you’re only around 20 mins away. It’s an area that suits all budgets.
You have a suburban feel about Newington. With many choosing houses over flats here. Many have back gardens which means you can relax in during the summer months. There are loads of landscape gardeners glasgow companies and in Edinburgh too, who can keep your garden in great condition all year round.
We love the city of Edinburgh and we hope we’ve helped you narrow down the options of where you would like to stay whether that’s for a job or as a student.
Keep up to date on the blog and look out for the next instalment soon.
